SUMMARY:Pine Tree Planting at David H. Irish Nature Preserve
DESCRIPTION:During this event, we will replace 500 pine trees that died during last years spring drought. The replacement pines are being planted with the hopes of them being more resilient and creating shadier conditions to allow more diverse species to be planted in the future. This even will start at 10 am and go until 2pm, or whenever we run out of trees. Registration is required so we can make sure we bring enough tools to keep everyone busy! If you want to bring a lunch, you are more than welcome, but snacks and water will be provided for you as well! We hope to see you out there. Parking will be located on the side of the road or pulling off into the field if your car can handle uneven two track.
