SUMMARY:Earth Day: Bike Trail Work Bee at Offield Family Viewlands
DESCRIPTION:Morning Session 9am – 12pm\nAfternoon Session 1 – 4pm\nGroup Ride Led by an LTC Staff Member @ 4pm\nLTC will be hosting a trail maintenance workday to celebrate Earth Day as we get the mountain bike trails for the season. Volunteers should meet at the Offield Family Viewlands Reserve parking area at 9:00 a.m. for the morning session or 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon session. Stay for an hour or the whole day, whatever your schedule allows. Please come dressed in appropriate work wear including gloves, footwear and layers to fit the weather that day, and bring water and lunch. Activities will include walking trail segments, removing downed limbs/trees, trimming brush, clearing natural drains and attending to any areas of erosion. All tools will be provided. This is a family friendly work bee, so bring the kids after school! Please register in case of any changes we need to make you aware of. BONUS: A post work bee bike ride will be optional assuming trails are rideable and weather permitting at 4pm, led by an LTC staff member, or you can ride on your own. We look forward to getting out on the trail with you this spring!\n
