SUMMARY:Foraging for and Making Natural Plant Dyes
DESCRIPTION:Plants offer us so much: food, remedies, and even dyes. Prior to synthetic dyes in the late 1800s, natural dyes were used to create magical colorways that harmonized with the world around them. At this event, we will walk through the woods foraging for plants to make into dyes. Please wear shoes to walk off the trail in, clothes you don’t mind staining, and something to carry your plants in. \n
