DESCRIPTION:Fill the Woodshed!\nSaturday, October 17  | 10am – 1:00pm\nAgnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve\nAgnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve – Andreae Bridge Fundraising ( https://landtrust.org/explore/agnes-s-andreae-nature-preserve/ )\n\nJoin our volunteer ambassador Richard Jenkins to fill the woodshed at the cabin on the\nAgnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve. Enjoy a fall day keeping warm by moving your\nbody and helping promote conservation. We will be loading pre-split wood into trucks to drive down to the\nwoodshed where a few people will be stacking wood.\nWhy are we doing this? This beautiful cabin along the Pigeon River is open for non-\nprofit groups and scout troops year-round. It gets most of its use in winter! This is a\nworkday where families of all ages are welcome and encouraged.\nWhat do I need to bring? We will provide gloves and snacks, you bring the positive\nattitude and strong arms. Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy closed-toed\nshoes and long pants.\nAre there bathrooms? A rustic outhouse is available on site.\nCan I hike the trails also? If you are interested in exploring the trails, Richard will lead\na hike to the Nature Megaphone following the work bee. It is about a one mile fairly\neasy walk and meanders along and above the wild and scenic Pigeon\nRiver.https://landtrust.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Agnes-S-Andreae-Nature-\nPreserve-Nature-Megaphone.pdf\nWhat do I need to do before I go?
