Time
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Protect high quality habitat with us by removing invasive spotted knapweed on the Lake Michigan shoreline. We will walk a half-mile through beautiful, forested sand dunes and work on the dune slope. It is a steep work site, and you will be bending and kneeling to hand-pull the plants. Bring a little backpack or something to take your water bottle and lunch or some snacks down to the beach. Feel free to swim after, as we will be working close to shore and an amazing, pristine beach.
