This summer, Little Traverse Conservancy invites families to join our hands-on nature programs. Designed for different ages, these outdoor adventures help children build curiosity, confidence, and a lasting connection to northern Michigan’s lands, waters, and trails.
Choose Your Adventure
Join us this summer in the Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and Petoskey area as well as Cheboygan for hands-on nature programs!
Gentle, sensory-based exploration perfect for our youngest naturalists.
Ages 3–5
Active discovery and deeper learning for curious and energetic kids.
Ages 6–8
Inquiry-based experiences with real scientific tools and bigger questions.
Ages 9–12
Program Details
- All programs take place outdoors in beautiful natural settings across the Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Harbor Springs, and Petoskey Areas
- Children should come dressed for the weather and ready to explore (specific recommendations are listed on each program page).
- Registration is required and fills quickly — members will receive first priority.
