Application for Memorial Bench

  • You know the respite that a bench can provide to the weary traveler. You know the welcomed joy and awe of sitting to watch a beautiful sunset. Memorializing someone with a bench is a gift to countless explorers that will last through the years. Thank you for considering this gift. Below are details of how you can make it possible.

    Memorial benches cost $5,000 and include the bench, an affixed plaque and LTC's commitment to install, maintain, and repair the bench for the first year. The bench can remain there for the bench's lifespan, but LTC is not obligated to maintain its upkeep or replace if somehow it is vandalized after a year's time. Through this application, LTC must approve the plaque text, and location on specific property for the bench prior to ordering.

    The bench style will be LTC’s standard bench called the Champion Memorial Bench. The bench is 6 feet long, made of recycled plastic from milk jugs and will be cemented into the ground.
