Falling Leaves Moon with Eric Hemenway

Eric Hemenway, an Anishinaabe/Odawa, will discuss the importance of seasonal movements utilized by the Odawa for centuries. These movements were in harmony with the land and were dictated by the world around the Odawa. In the Odawa calendar, the month we call October is “the falling leaves moon” to northern Michigan’s original people.
