Open House on the Pigeon and Little Pigeon Rivers

Boyd B. Banwell Nature Preserve 

Join LTC Staff for a guided snowshoe or xc ski tour of the almost nine miles of trails that span three preserves on the Pigeon and Little Pigeon Rivers: the Agnes. S. Andreae Nature Preserve, the Boyd B. Banwell Nature Preserve, and the L. John and Helen Bishop Working Forest Reserve. Home to unique wildlife such as elk, bobcats, and beaver, these preserves lead you to scenic river vistas, through upland forests, and past conifer swamps across 840 areas of protected lands. Opportunities abound. Hot cider, chili, and a warming campfire will be provided for this event showcasing these trails.
