Join us for a cozy evening in the woods by a fire with a hot cup of cocoa, all ages welcome!

Meet in the School House and join us for a reading of Stranger in the Woods by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick. The story follows Northern Michigan woodland creatures as they attempt to find a stranger in the forest, discovering a snowman at the end of the trail.

After the story, participants will follow the lanterns for a short walk into the Seberon “Boo” Litzenburger Nature Preserve, where they will follow the recipe for a snowman. Not comfortable walking through the woods? Enjoy the warmth and history of the old schoolhouse along M-119 just past Pond Hill Farm.
