History
When a favorite fishing spot on the Pigeon River was suddenly slated for a riverside development, locals reached out to LTC. Acquired between 2008-2010, the land’s protection was made possible by the J.A. Woollam Foundation, the family of Vivian VanCampen, the Mullett Lake Area Preservation Society, and individual donors. The previous donors let the public use the land for fishing access, and many of these historic foot paths have been preserved.
