Land Description

Trail Description

Roughly 2.5 miles of trail are available in total. Parking is available off of Middle Road.

History

Located just a few miles outside of Harbor Springs, this land is most known for its undeveloped, scenic sloped hillside, viewed from Middle Road and Hughston Road. The previous owners of this property had initially purchased it with the hope of keeping it natural. The lead pledge for this parcel's purchase came from the Henry E. and Consuelo S. Wenger Foundation and was coupled with a timely challenge grant from The Carls Foundation. The Birchwood Farms community stepped up and helped finish the fundraising.
